Which resort for massage? AKL or GF

I'm looking to treat my DW to a surprise massage/facial and would like recommendations and/or testimonials from people who have used the services at either facility within the past several months. I'm assuming that the services are better at GF due to having a facility dedicated to this service, but would like to hear from people using the massage services at AKL. We'll be staying at AKL in December and would prefer doing the massage there so that we don't have to leave the resort, but if it's that much better at GF, then i wouldn't mind making the appointment there.

Any help/info appreciated.

The Spa at SSR is good!

We just did the couples' massage at the GF, and we loved it! Haven't done the AKL massage, so can't help you out there, but the GF one was very nice. The SSR does also have a lovely facility, and the staff there is very friendly.

I did have a Swedish massage at the AKL. It was excellent as far as the massage goes. The facility is not as fancy as GF or SSR(have also had massages there) but so easy to do during our afternoon R&R time at the resort. The "kids" (16 & 19) swam & hung out while I had my massage. Plus since it is not a fancy spa, I believe the treatment prices are lower at AKL than at GF or SSR.
