Which resort for comfy beds?

We are planning on going to Disney in early December and are thinking of staying at the Swan and Dolphin simply because of the wonderful beds, however we would like to get the meal plan which brings us back to staying at one of the mod or possibly if we could get a good deal at the WL, but I'm worried about the beds being hard/and or uncomfortable.
I would love to hear how comfortable the beds were where you have stayed. Also do any of the mod resorts have 2 queen beds instead of fulls?

Thanks so much!

Coronado Springs has full, but they were very nice for a mod. I hope someday to give a report on AK or BI beds LOL

The most comfortable bed I've slept in at WDW was at CR a couple weeks ago. Between the mattress and all those pillows, I almost preferred sleeping to being in the parks.

The second most comfortable was at BCV last February. They had recently replaced the mattress, so it was fairly new.

I haven't stayed at WL since the refurb (only VWL) so I don't know how their new ones are.

Just for a reference point, I like a supportive, but sort of on the softer side, kind of mattress. I can't sleep on a really firm one.

Not my favorite resort, but by far the comfiest bed was at the GF a few weeks ago. It was better than the Poly and far better than the beds at AKL. I wanted to take it home with me and I have read on these boards that some people have purchased the same type mattress after their stay at the GF!!:)

GF had the most comfortable bed i've ever slept on....and I usually sleep horribly in hotels.

Early December is a great time to go; it's value season, you could probably get a great deal at GF or CR.

Check the codes and discount board!
