Which resort for Christmas 2006?

My DH , DD11 , DD8 and I are considering going to Disney next year for Christmas. We would be there around Dec 18th - 26th or 27th. We have been to Disney World the past 2 years for vacation, once in June at Pop and once this October at Pop because of the great free dining plan. We would really like to stay at one of the Deluxes this time to make our Christmas extra special. Which resort would you pick and why???

Well, I picked the Poly, but that's just because I have always wanted to stay there. If I every went acutually over Christmas, I would pick Wilderness Lodge. Just the warm feeling of it, the decor, the woodsy feel would make it feel more like Christmas to me.

The Wilderness Lodge is actually the resort we are thinking about staying at. I am a little concerned about transportation. It seems like it might be easier staying at a resort on the monorail at such a busy time of year. But, WL would be so beautiful!

Depends on your needs... GF gorgeous, esp. at Christmas but the most expensive. I personally like WL, not as formal when you have little ones. Never stayed at the Poly ... and the Contemporary seems great if you're in the tower, the wings just don't do a whole lot for me, IMHO. Remember, you can resort hop one day to see all the decorations, try different restaurants, etc... Good luck

Definitely GF!! The life sized gingerbread house ... enormous and beautifully decorated Christmas tree ... the orchestra playing Christmas music. It's truly magical! But that's just me.

A lot of the CMs I have spoken with have told me that WL is the prettiest resort at Christmas.
