Which resort for a no parks trip?

I would have to vote HHI.

That is the best no-parks-very-relaxing-totally-serene- resort there is!

Can you tell we love it?

If I use my DVC membership, and I go for a non-park trip, that is a no brainer. For me, that would be a golfing trip with my buddies. So - SSR is right on LBV golf course. Book two rounds at LBV, possibly another at a Disney course, and a few in Orlando. Evenings can be spent at DTD without worry of us having to drive. We can have a nice dinner, hit the clubs, and not have to designate a driver. I am not even talking about partying hard, even just for a couple drinks, it is nice to know you are a 5-10 minute walk back to the resort.

I could definitely do a no-parks trip. However, I couldn't stay out of DTD. So I'd pick as close to DTD as possible, which would be SSR.
