Which resort for a 2-3 day stay in 2004 & why?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to pick you brain as to where you would stay (if given the choice) of the following and why?

CSR (which building)
CBR (same question)
POFQ (we have stayed here before)
POR (took the boat over and swam while @POFQ)
PC (just to try the "NEW PLACE")

Also we may be bringing a 11yr DD best friend and she has never stayed on property before, I would like her to be amazed!

MAC3, I voted for PO-FQ. I have now stayed in every moderate resort and that one is my personal favorite. The resort is small and quaint and yet you have boat service to PO-RS and Downtown Disney.

You need to check out all of the resort videos that Dreams Unlimited Travel (the owner of the Dis) has on their website: click here. Anytime I am stumped regarding which resort to choose, I look at those videos a few times before I make my final decision.

I voted for POR. I loved this resort. I am particularly fond of the Mansions though. I just recently stayed there for one night before moving to the GF and loved it! We stayed in Oak Manor in a river waterview room and it was wonderul! The view was really nice and the building was pretty close to the main pool, a quiet pool, the main building and a bus stop. I loved walking around the grounds on the river they were beautiful. I also really enjoyed the lounge, the restaraunt and the food court. The boat to DTD was really nice as well. I don't have a bad thing to say about this resort! This is my favorite moderate. I really enjoyed my stay here!!! I do however like the POFQ and since they are refurbishing them right now I bet it would be nice to stay there in a "new" room so to speak if they are open by your trip. Have fund deciding and have a great trip!!

When is POFQ re-opening. I love this hotel, in part because it was where we first stayed on-site. Any chance it will be open in June 2004??
