Well, this is a weird answer, I suppose, but I have two.
Pop Century: I went in there expecting more of the same in the likes of the All Stars, except I expected it to be BETTER (cause it was newer, etc.). I came away wishing I'd stayed at the All Stars. The atmosphere at Pop was too crazy. It was too loud and garish. I like All Star Music, and for some reason, it seems so much quieter by comparison than Pop. I hated everything about the Pop. I just can't understand how people like it.
POR: I used to stay here when I was a young preteen/teenager and my family would go down. Back then, it was Dixie Landings. I stayed at POR in 2003 with my husband. We happened to get a great SOG overflow rate there ($69/night...couldn't pass that up) and I was excited to return to the place I loved as a kid. I had it all built up in my head and so I was talking it up to my husband for weeks. Well, when we got there, we were placed in Building 34 in AB...FAR from everything. The place seemed so worn down, old, and just in need of freshening up. I was so disappointed by how small the main pool seemed (when you're younger, things seem so much more grand).

The food court was completely different than it used to be, and it just felt strange to be there, like deja vu sort of. It was like I recognized it, but I felt like I'd never been there before. It was sort of sad that it didn't live up to the way I had it in my head. I sort of wished I hadn't returned there, because now those memories seem skewed...
