I voted for the first choice! My family loves Rose and Crown and I think it would be a lovely meal for Christmas lunch!

We just love Biergarten, so I had to pick that. Boatrights was fine, nothing fantastic for us, but it's OK.

How fun to be at the world for Christmas! Enjoy!:goodvibes

Just curious - are these the only choices you have for 12/25? If so, I'd choose the 1st option.

I picked the first because:

We prefer Rose & Crown for lunch over dinner.

We love Biergarten and prefer it for dinner.

We are not impressed with Boatrights.

This may sound silly, but a buffet on a holiday- especially a family style one sounds better to me- Biergarten with a table of new friends sounds more holiday to me than the pubstyle.

I chose the first one. We haven't been to many Disney restaurants but we did not like Boatwrights at all but I have always wanted to try Rose and Crown.

It might help to know what you are doing for Christmas dinner. That would certainly influence my selection for lunch that day. That said, (and with the admission that I have never been to WDW on 12/25), I would avoid the MK that day, as I understand that it is a madhouse. Others love the festive crowds. But that's not for me. So if I were in another park, (most likely Epcot), I would think that Norway, Germany, Italy, France, UK or Canada is where I would want to dine on Christmas. Of those, I would opt for an elegant dinner at Bistro de Paris for my special meal on Christmas. Or maybe Le Cellier as a distant second choice for Christmas Dinner. If I went that route, my lunch that day would be something more simple, and I would opt for Rose and Crown. Biergarten is a bit heavy for me to do for lunch if a nice dinner is waiting in the wings.

Hope that made sense.

Our first choice is 12/22 Biergarten dinner & 12/25 Le Cellier lunch, but don't think we'll get it and I'm thinking we won't get R&C either...nothing is available for 180 days from today at either place.

Our first choice is Le Cellier for lunch, but don't think we'll get it. We are going with DH's entire family (15 in total) and my SIL wants to do lunches on the 24th and 25th instead of dinners because when we're at home on the holiday, they always do the family celebrations at 2:00...so she wants to stick with tradition and plus that way we'll make the fireworks, she said. So, we won't do any TS dinner on Christmas, maybe a snack or CS. Biergarten, thus, may be the way to go especially since our other choices will likely be all booked up. Maybe, we should find a replacement for Boatwright's then...since it seems most are not fans and my inlaws were not thrilled either...maybe I'll not book anything for 12/22 and we can all go our own way that night. Here is what we have for the trip:

12/21 check in and Ohanas dinner (tradition for SIL to go there 1st night)
12/22 ??????
12/23 Bongo's dinner
12/24 Whispering Canyon lunch
12/25 Biergarten lunch
12/26 check out
