Which plan would you go with?

We are heading to WDW in January for a long weekend. We will only have 3 park days. This is not our first or last trip. I am trying to decide between two plans...one with hoppers one without. Which would you go with?

With Hoppers
Day 1: AK then hop to Epcot for the evening
Day 2: DHS then hop to MK for dinner at CRT and MSEP/Wishes
Day 3: MK

Without Hoppers
Day 1: AK
Day 2: MK
Day 3: MK

I really like the idea of hitting all four parks but also don't want to overwhelm my family. DH, DS (7) and DD (4).

Personally I spend two full days at Magic kingdom on my trips so for me that's what I would do.

I would rather spend my time enjoying all of MK and AK, since they are my favorite parks

It would be hard for me to say that the marginal increase in fun/convenience with adding hoppers for a 3-day trip would be worth $213. I could think of better ways to spend that $, but that's me, YMMV.

I also like the Without Hoppers plan, we don't use hoppers though

I'd do the Hoppers. We always park hop. I wouldn't want to NOT visit Epcot, even on a short trip!

I've always gotten hoppers since the first time there were actually two parks to go to so I might be a little biased. Having said that, only you know your family. You said this isn't your first time nor will it be your last so you know what the kiddos like. Do they enjoy Epcot and HS? Most little ones, with exceptions my DS was one of the exceptions, like MK better than any of the other parks. Would the kids be disappointed if you didn't go to Epcot and HS? Can you comfortably pay for hoppers? If not, do option #2, if so you might want to consider option #1.

We can afford hoppers and I personally hate to miss Epcot. I honestly don't think my DH and kids would miss Epcot or HS though. MK is definitely our favorite and my son is all about animals so AK is a must do. I'm just very torn. This biggest issue is going "commando" vs. being a little more relaxed. We can do either I just don't know what makes more sense for such a short trip.

Unless anyone will be extremely disappointed to skip Epcot or DHS, I'd do option 2. With a short trip, I'd rather focus on my favorite parks than spend time & energy hopping.
