Which plan for Disneyland and DCA sound better?

I am going to book a short trip in October-2 nights and 3 full days. Which plan do you think is better for crowds? I have to include a weekend-there is no getting around it!!

Plan A-Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Thursday-Disneyland
Friday-DCA
Saturday-Whatever we missed, fly home Saturday evening

Or

Plan B-Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Same itinerary

I know Saturdays are crowded-Any ideas???

The more weekend time you can avoid, the better. You will probably be fine at that time of year. Be sure to be at the park when it opens. Even during the busiest times, you can do a lot of the park in the first two hours! And, use Fastpass!!

Another vote for plan A.

We were at DLR last week and DL was miserably packed on Saturday the 19th. I won't visit there again on a weekend, even if it is "off" season!

....If you are getting early entry, you can only take advantage of it all 3 days if you do Plan A.
