Which parks on which days Dec. 1-7

This is our plan so far:
Wed Dec 1st-MGM
Thur-TL
Fri-MK
Sat-AK then 1900 park fair then MK
Sun-Epcot
Mon-TL
Tue-MK then depart at 2pm.
According to the guide books these are good days to go in the off season. But I was just reading about the Christmas parade taping on Friday the 3rd, so now I don't know if we should have that be our MK day or not. I'm open to any suggestions. TIA

We were there last year during the taping of the parade and it was a MAD HOUSE on Main Street. Very hard to navigate the sidewalks. Although it was fun to see how they produced it. There was a guy running up and down Main Street hollering in a microphone..."Everyone...SMILE your at DisneyWorld on Christmas Day" and it was December 6th and about 70 degrees.

I live in south florida only about 2 hours away.Dh and I drove up just for the day and I kid you not we walked in to the MK turned around and walked back to our car and drove the 2 hours back so we didnt have to waste money on a hotel staying over night. couldn't take that kind of a crowd. And wouldn't you know we will be there again and that time and I didn't even know until just now!!*&%$#@$%% Darn!!!!

Where did you read that the parade was taping on the 3rd?
Thats our last day at MK and now I'm worried the crowd will
ruin our day. We've never been to WDW before so I'll have
a hard enough time navigating around without the added
pressure of lots and lots and lots of people. Please someone
tell me it will be OK!

I read somewhere hear about the parade taping on the 3rd. I also read on another thread that they don't officially announce when it's being taped. I hope it's not on the 3rd. Is just Main Street crowded or are the lines for rides long too?

If the guide books say to avoid Thursday at MK, that's because it's an early entry day. I would bet that Thursday Dec 2 is going to be a good day to go, especially if you are there at 8:00, but even if you don't get there until 9:00. A couple years ago we did exactly that (9:00 on a Thur in early Dec) and it was delightfully uncrowded.

So if you want to avoid Dec 3, just do MK on Dec 2 and TL on Dec 3.

That would work if they are staying onsite and can therefore do early entry (which maybe they are and I missed it).

We are staying at Pop Century. So we could do EE but I promised my family we wouldn't do that this trip since we did MK on a Thursday last May and it was very busy. They we're cranky from having to get up so early. But maybe I can convince them that's the best option.

tuesday dec 7 has no sprectro and closes at 6:00, so will probably be the least crowded day for MK if that matters

i'll be arriving late on the 3rd and current plan is something like:

sat 4th epcot
sun 5th AK, MGM evening
mon 6th probably MGM then MK in evening for spectro
tues 7th MK for everything else
