I am going to WDW July 16 - 20 with a four day hopper ticket, staying off site. With the crowds, just wondering which park to visit which day (W,TH, Fr, Sa). Also, staying at Holiday Inn family suites, just found out that their shuttle only runs 3-4 times a day and you have to reserve a day ahead, anyone had a problem with this???

We are gonna be there July 13-19th. We're staying at the Holiday Inn Family Suites also. They have a website we've checked out. www.hifamilysuites.com
It looks really nice. My DH works for Holiday Inn so we're getting a great rate! Since we're not gonna be able to do EE, I am trying to avoid the parks w/EE since I've heard they tend to get really crowded. We have the 4day PH, so I'm gonna be in one park in the morning and a different park after our afternoon break. Sun & Mon we're gonna do US & IOA. Tue Morn-Epcot/Aft-MK, Wed Morn-AK/Aft-MGM, Thu Morn-MGM/Aft-Epcot World Showcase, Fri Morn-MK/Aft-probably end up back in MK since that's where I like to end my Disney Vacations at. Check out the new park hours on the Disney Web page and check on the EE days. Then you can plan out your trip and any shows you want to see with that. Hope you have a fun time, looking forward to our VACATION........

Oh I forgot. We also decided just to drive to the parks instead of taking the shuttle. I didn't like the hours it will be running. I don't want to be running out of the parks at the end of the day to get to the shuttle and accidentally miss it then have to take a taxi to the hotel and pay an enormous amount for that. I'd just rather take my time and pay to park.:smooth:

Thanks for the planner website, I only have two days to switch!

Cindy,
I just talked to the hotel and they said if you have a car, you should definately use it! The shuttles don't run very often and you must have a boarding pass issued the day before.

So if you pay to park in the morning and leave to catch a nap, do you pay again when you come back???

Nope, you don't have to pay twice. Just hang on to your receipt, or rather the thingy they give you to put on your dashboard with the date on it...and you can park again at the same park (or one of the other 3, if you want to park hop) without paying again for parking the same day.

:D

We've decided to just drive instead of using the shuttle. We're gonna park in the morning at one of the parks and use the Disney Transportation System to get to different parks if need to. But I know you only pay once a day, not once a park, so that will help us since I'd like to visit 2 a day. I think we're gonna try to go back to the hotel in the afternoon to take a little break, eat lunch and rest until we go back to the second park of the evening. Or at least these are my plans for now!!! Oh, you might have found this out already but EE is early entry. It's great if you're staying on Disney property, but since we're not this time, I will be avoiding those parks in the mornings on those days. I have went over and over my schedule to make sure I'm not missing anything or have picked the best days for each park. I'm gonna take this long weekend to do last minute shopping, packing ahead what I can and cleaning house before we leave the following Saturday. You'll have a nice trip. I'm sure we'll be running into each other at some point ....
