Would you rather plan a day at typhoon lagoon or a second day at epcot with a family of four including a 2 year old and a 5 year old. We are going in September when its hot and food and wine will be out. We have all the other parks already planned for our 7 day trip. Thanks!

WE did typhoon lagoon 2 odd weeks ago. Will not do it again. What a waste. Blizzard beach was much more fun, when open.

The two-year-olds and five-year-olds that I have known have always much preferred water activities to pretty much anything else I can think of on vacation. It’s always hard getting them out of the pool!

Where are you staying at Disney? If on site at one of their resorts, quite often a couple hours in the afternoon at the pool is a perfect break for the young ones (and older ones, if I do say so myself!). Just thinking that might be easier to navigate than a trip to and from TL. Then spend the evening at EPCOT. But we've enjoyed several fun days at TL, as well.

For a two or five year old, typhoon might be fine. Our kids are 11. Everything was tube driven. Sit on a tube, and float. there was one slide that we never got around to doing, some storms. Compare that to blizzard beach where you have the lagoon tubing and a lot of other rides that were individual slides with a mat. I'll admit those are likely way too much for a 2 or 5 yr. old.

I agree with this. When my uncle took his kids to WDW when they were that age, they only cared about AK and the pool. They didn't even want to go to MK or any other park - just the hotel pool was fine LOL.

We often visit WDW in Sep. At 2 and 5 yo I would agree with others and look to pool time. They would enjoy TL but would probably enjoy the pool just as much. Something else to consider in Sep is that TL will likely close their pools and slides for a couple of hours in the afternoon due to lightning in the area. It happens almost daily and the pools get closed when lightning is in the area, not just storming, raining.
