Which Park twice?

I will be spending six days in the parks, 1 park per day tickets, and I already know I will be going to the Magic Kingdom twice. Which other park would be good to do twice with preschoolers and a young elementary child?

AK. I feel there is always more to see then we have time for in one day

Or

HS. Lots to do for your kids ages especially if they enjoy the shows

Since you already said you're doing MK twice, my vote is for AK. Why? Animals! And less structure/waiting in line. The kids can explore the trails at their leisure, play in the Boneyard, ride the safari and see Festival of the Lion King again, there's Rafiki's Planet Watch and the train that takes you there, and I've never seen a little kid yet that was in a hurry to leave Dinoland USA.

I would do AK. But what I would do for sure is put the extra day at the end. Make your FP, but after you've been to them all be open to changing your plans. With preschoolers your first day somewhere could surprise you (for good or bad) and you may want to switch your plans.

I guess it depends upon whether your kids like animals or Toy Story/Star Wars/rides more. Also, when are you going? If after SWGE opens, then possibly avoid DHS if you don’t want crowds.

We have two girls, now aged 10 and 8. We've gone when they were 4 and 2, 6 and 4, and 9 and 7. I've always felt they get twice the enjoyment out of MK than all the other parks combined. There are by my quick count (i.e. looking at MDE really fast and tallying up) around 20 "rides" at MK and around 9 at Epcot, 6 at DHS and 7 at AK. I didn't count shows, encounters, or other attractions.

We've always gone for around 7 days and I think we could have easily spent 4 days at MK. Our girls were never that interested in Epcot and the World Showcase can be a real challenge to traverse, especially when they were younger. Their second favorite park was definitely AK; they love animals and they have always loved the safari. So my first recommendation, if your kids are like mine, would be make it a 3rd day at MK. If not, I vote for AK for the second day.

Personally, I would do a 3rd day at MK or do AK twice.

DHS is a nice park with Toy Story. However, there isn't a lot to do in that park for younger kids that can't make it onto some of the attractions due to height restrictions.

EPCOT is my usual go-to for a 2nd day. It depends on if your kids enjoy discovery and exploring more than actual attractions. EPCOT is the only park that I say you can't experience the entire park in one day.

My 5 year old son LOVED Epcot and asked to "go back to the real Disney" at AK so it's so much just about who your kids are. Or who you are! I would do an extra day at Epcot or DHS before AK any day.

We would do Epcot, but with your children's ages, probably AK would be more enjoyable. We're not as much 'in' AK, but most small children enjoy the animals.

Also voting for AK.

FOP changes plans (if they're tall enough).

Another vote for AK. And not only for FOP. The Safari... All the different trails... The monkey near Kali can keep me entertained a long time.

Tough choice but I’m leaning towards Epcot. My kids loved the Kidcot stations at each country where they could color and see their names written in different languages. They loved (and still do) the rides in Futureworld too.
