Which park to do this Thursday AM

We are heading to Disney tonight to do MK tomorrow, Epcot Friday. My question is which park to do in AM on Thursday. I want to do MGM and Animal that day (per TGM suggestion). I have planned to do Animal now, then the rest of the day at MGM. Is that the best way to go? Or should I switch it to MGM first then Animal?

I would do AK first then head over to MGM, which is usually opened later than AK. I wasn't crazy about AK and will only visit next time to ride EE.

I think you are right to plan AK first. The safari ride is best in early AM, and you should be able to see the essentials by noon or early PM. I suggest lunch at Flame Tree BBQ (my favorite).

Once you're at MGM your first important question is whether you want to do Fantasmic. If so, pick your time (if there's a choice) and figure on being in line an hr or more early (ask a CM). Then you can plan the rest of your touring around the park accordingly. If you don't do Fantasmic, some attractions are easier to get into during it... like TT and RRC (my favorite ride in all WDW though EE is close) so you might leave them till evening and do less crowded things earlier. (Though I'd hate for that to cause you to miss RRC or TT, which it might.)

PS- phantom728- looks like you'll be making your first visit to Shades of Green. I've never stayed (I don't qualify) but I've been out there a lot... what a wonderful place!

Oh Stan that is a great idea!

We are going to do Illuninations at Epcot on Friday night so that should be enough show for my boys! I will try to fast pass at least one of those rides and hopefully hit them both while Fantasmic is going on. There are two shows this week so hopefully that will clear things out a bit during both.
