When we arrive at DLP at 12:30 next Monday, we have decided to have my daughters Birthday Meal and Cake at Cafe Mickey before we go to the parks.

So we probably won't get to the Park until around 2:30 ish...

Which Park do you recommend we go to first for the rest of the afternoon?

1) Studio's
2) Main Park

I was thinking that we should go to the Main Park, go on a few rides in Fantasyland and then we will catch the parade in the afternoon after going on a few rides.
Then we can always do the Studios the next day.

(We are there Mon-Fri so hopefully have enough time to fit everything in, but we are just so excited, so i think we just want to run around all the parks and lands in one go hahahaha :rotfl2: )

Where would you go first if you were arriving in the parks around 2:30ish after a meal at Cafe Mickey's ?

I would go to the main park - theres nothing quite like seeing the Castle to take your breath away, and really have you believe you're right in the heart of The Magic :cloud9: .

You have all the Christmas decs etc to see in the main park too. So much to see, even if you don't get on any rides at all :goodvibes !

I'd personally go to the main park. What we did before was to make a dash to the hotel to check-in & get our tickets & leave our luggage there (as we don't want to hit the huge check-in crowd later in the afternoon), head to the main park, look and go ahhhh at the Castle (well, me & kids go ahhh lol), wander around, then book our place for the parade. There's nothing more wonderful than watching the parade on the first day there I reckon.

I'd go and see the castle with your DD. I'm getting excited for you!:rotfl: Don't forget to get an autograph book for her before Cafe Mickey!

No matter how many times I visited any Disney resort, main street and the castle will always my be first port of call!!! Just has to be done that way!!

OOOOOOOH thank you i forgot all about that!
I will have to pop into the shops on the way to CAFE MICKEY to get her an Autograph book.

(Lets hope the Eurostar isnt late coming into DLP and that there isnt a long queue for Disney Express luggage, so we can then head straight to the village, buy a Autograph book and go striaght to Cafe Mickey) :worship:

Think ur all definately right :thumbsup2 will head straight down to the Main Park after Cafe Mickey... See the lovely Xmas Decs in Main St and the castle :cloud9:

It'll have to be the Main Park for me too!!! The castle, Main St... Awwww, can't wait!

I would go to the Main Park and other people have suggested see the castle and go on rides first. Last week we found that most of the characters were appearing in the Studios rather than the Main Park - and this took place in the morning and into lunchtime. Minnie was by the entrance, then Mickey was at the Toon Studio along with Mr & Mrs Incredible, Ratatouille (sp?!), and Monsters Inc. It's only a short walk between the two parks so on our thrid and last day we swapped between the two doing the things we hadn't fitted in before.
