This is my shortest trip ever. My 17 yr old didn't want to leave the girlfriend, so I made it short. Now, I'm at 10 days out and trying to plan my days and restaurants.
Isn't there a page that says which days are the slowest at the parks? I can't find it. I'm doing 1/2 days at MGM and Epcot with dinner at Epcot. Full day at MK, and two days Universal and 1 day Seaworld. I definately am planning California Grill and Chef de France. I would like to fit in Le Cellier, but not sure if I can fit it in. Somehow thinking to do Cal Grill on a Universal day, but not sure if that would work. I will be there Saturday till Wed. Leaving on Thursday afternoon. Also planning on Red Lobster as I have over $100 in gc's. Planning Pat O'Briens in Universal. If you could send me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Hope I can still get the CG reservations!
Thanks!

You can find the days on www.allearsnet.com. I believe that the busiest days for MK are Saturday, Monday and Thursday. AKL is busiest Monday thru Wed. I can't remember the others off hand. Just go to "planning" at the site above and it will lead you to the info.

I personally would forgo Sea World when you have such a limited time or only spend one day at Universal

If you must do these parks... there are 2 trains of thought
1st is to take advantage of any EE days and hop around
ex.

Sat- EE MGM hop to Epcot dinner at Chefs de France

Sun- EE MK (this will get packed) dinner at Cali Grill but then you have no where to hop to

etc.

Here's what I would do

Sat- Universal (dinner at Pat O'briens) you can buy a 1day 2park pass at the Universal gates, you may be able to hit the highlights form both parks in one day if you hustle

Sun- return to Universal if you didn't get to both parks on Sat

Mon- MK early dinner at Cali Grill (return to park for spectro and wishes)

Tues- Sea World (leave by 4:00) then head to Epcot for dinner at Chefs de France and see Illuminations

Wed- EE Epcot to finish up what you can then have lunch at Le Cellier hop to MGM and end night seeing Fantasmic

Thurs.- if you have time before you leave visit DTD to do some shopping

I left out Red Lobster only because you have limited time and you can always use those GC at home. Enjoy Disney resturaunts instead afterall this is vacation

Tues-

Is your 17 year old going to be open to getting up at 7:00 for EE? (I'm not even sure if you are staying on site.) We did EE for MK only on a Sunday, and then hopped over to MGM, but you could also monorail it over to Epcot. I would highly recommend going to the Disney parks that have had Early Entry the day before. If you can't make Early Entry, avoid EE parks at all costs that day. Look at the Spectro/Wishes schedule as MK will also be most crowded those days. MK is supposed to be slowest on Tuesday and Wednesday. You might like doing an E night also. Have you thought about doing Le Cellier for lunch?

I also agree that Sea World might be too much along with WDW and Universal on such a short trip. I'd rather spend more time at Epcot, MGM, and the Boardwalk.

ILOVEPOOH1,
I really appreciate all the thought you put into this, but I should have given you more details. This will be my teens 5th trip to WDW. We've been going every other year since my youngest was 5. They have come to love IOA as their favorite park because of the roller coasters and can't wait for the Mummy ride. One of the reasons my oldest stopped fighting me was because of the length of the trip and the fact that we're going to visit Sea World, as we've never been there.
That being said, I have that 5 day pass for Universal that expires, as it was cheaper than a 2 day pass. I also have the Pepsi promotion pass for Seaworld that comes with the free lunch or dinner. I have a 3 day php for Disney.
This is the first time we're not staying onsite as I was only going to the Disney parks for 2 days, possibly that last morning also(just don't know if I should waste the park pass for only a few hours.) I always needed the 3rd bed so not to cause fights. When they were younger, we did Dixie Landings, for the trundle bed. Last trip we did the Contemporary for the extra bed. This time I got a suite right near Downtown Disney. So there won't be any extra ee for me. I was thinking to avoid the park that had ee that day as that's usually the busier of the two.
As far as Red Lobster goes, I live in MA, and we used to have a few near us, but they have all closed within the past few years. It used to be my 17 yr olds favorite restaurant. I was going to take him there for his 16th birthday and didn't realize they had all closed. The closest one is in Connecticut.
Sorry this is so long, just wanted to explain.
princesscrazydaughter, Thanks for the site, I had been to Deb's but couldn't find it anywhere.

Ditto on dumping SeaWorld.

If you are not going to take advantage of EMH, visit the EMH park the day after.

swilphil,
I did think about Le Cellier for lunch and Chef de France for dinner. My oldest wants to do French and we did Le Cellier last trip, my favorite. I just couldn't figure out how I could fit in MGM and get to Epcot for lunch and dinner, and still stay long enough at MGM. My kids aren't Epcot fans the way I am. I would skip MGM all together if it was my choice. I'm not a TOT fan or RNR fan the way they are. Sorry, but they scare me!
