Which park on the day of arrival for DD2

I'm arriving on a saturday. I should be in WDW resorts by noon - I'm thinking about going to MGM and having dinner at the Brown Derby. Then Magic Kingdom on sunday for DD.

Personally for me I would go with Magic Kingdom first day with a character meal since your going to have a little one. That's usually the park we start with on the first day.

One more vote for that plan! I think the castle and the atmosphere of the MK really brings it to life for kids!

I vote for MK. If you arrive at your resort noon, you could be in the park in time to look around main street and find a nice shady spot to watch the parade. We did this on our kids first visit (4 and 2 at the time) and they loved it. Then we went to Fantasyland which wasn't too crowded. Most of the families with little ones left right after the parade.

I'd go with MK too. When we took my DD there for the first time (she was 2), she walked in the entrance of the park, and her jaw literally dropped and she had this look of pure amazement on her face. I will never forget that moment as long as I live. I really wish I would have had my camera ready!

For the first day, MK is a must!!!! our first park day with our 20month old this year is MK!!! and a character meal for dinner!!
