What park should we go to on Saturday June 17th?
We can go to any park, or that can be our water park day.
We will have park hoppers.
Trying to decide on dinner reservations that night.

We are there for 8 nights and going to all the parks.

It truly depends on what you are wanting to accomplish across your vacation days. How many park days, which shows/events you want to attend, specific dinner reservations may only be available on certain nights so I would arrange those first if they are priority, etc.

We'll be there that day! We will be at the Magic Kingdom. I finally got the touring plans subscription after we had already started planning some of our days and I was pleasantly surprised to see the Magic Kingdom was rated as one of the lowest crowd days of our whole trip. I was worried that would be a more crowded day. Epcot was also rated the same. Not that the ratings are facts but I keep hearing such good things about the touring plans site.

We are flexible. We will get there at rope drop. I am just not sure what park would be least crowded that Saturday. Or is it a good day for a water park?

if anyone can predict where crowds aren't going to be the first month pandora is opened, I want to go to vegas with them. It's been a long time since something huge opened (AK being the last really big thing I can think of). and it's the first time there is IP that isn't disney's opening up...

going to be an interesting time

It really doesn't matter -- going early to whichever park you choose is the smart thing to do.

In the past, we'd visit DHS on a Saturday.
But, with half the park out of commission and the new Star Wars show bringing more people to the park at night ...
I suggest that Saturday be a NO PARK day.
I know ... blasphemy! LOL!!! But, hear me out ...
You will be there eight nights and have the luxury to take a "relaxation day" during your "vacation".
Maybe, enjoy your resort and your resort pool or visit a spa and do dinner at a resort restaurant or Disney Springs.
This suggestion comes from years and years of getting home from a Disney vacation exhausted and my husband pointing
out that he went back to work MORE tired than when he left for vacation and that we never got to enjoy the resort we paid $$$$$ to stay in.
Just my two cents. :)

Have a magical trip!

From the last 2 trips we have taken I have found that the MK is not as crowded on a Saturday as it was during mid week. We are planning on going to MK on Saturday again this next trip.

The only right answer is the park you and your family want to be in.

Crowd calendars and those type things are nothing more than WAGs. There's no way anyone can really predict what the crowd in a certain park will be on a given day 2.5 months from now. If they can, as Accident said, I want to bring them with me next time I play Powerball. There are some generalities that are easy to predict...holidays are busy, weekends are busier than weekdays. Beyond that, who really knows?

Go where you want.
