which park on first day of honeymoon?

Hey guys me and my fianc'e have seen many people saying to visit Epcot the first day, espically if you arrive around noon. Me and my fianc'e..ok ok wife as of 4-4-04 will be having our honeymoon from 4-5-04 -4-10-04 and we cannot wait. But which park to do on that first day? Do we hit Epcot and see this amazing place? I don't think we hit the magic of MK the first day as we have a 7:30 am ps for Chef Mickey's on that Tuesday. We could hit MGM. Or what about AK? If we hit Epcot we will be there all day, but if we hit AK, can we do that park in about lets say 4 or 5 hours and still seeing everything with the park and then go to the hotel and get settled into our room, shower, and then go to DTD? While I never thought I would like the AK idea, it sounds really good the way you have it there, with that then checking in and DTD...much less stressful and you can go with the flow and do it however you want...Otherwise I'd go with Epcot and stick to World Showcase, with a dinner at one of the fantastic restaurants there.

I think the first park we hit on our honeymooon was actually Sea World (shhh!! heheh)

but the first DISNEY park we hit was AK (as it's probably oru favorite)...then the next day was MK I believe...put on our 'wedding ears' and had a BLAST!

Disney is one of the best places to Honeymoon in my opinion...but I'll tell you this. Just take your time. Don't go commando in the parks if you don't have to. My hubby and I were there for I believe 12 days...so we took our time with everything, and really RELAXED after the stress of the wedding.

Doing the AK is a good idea when you only have a shorter day to work with.

The only suggestion I would make is to check in to the hotel before you go to a park. An early check in is more likely to get you a better room, in my opinion.

If this is your first visit, you have to start with the MK. Even if you only stay for an our or two, I would start here, then monorail to Epcot for the rest of the day. I have been to WDW 5 times now, and I always start and finish the trip in the MK, even though Epcot is our favorite park.

If you have been to WDW before, I like the AK plan. It is a little slower paced, and you should be able to get a lot done in a few hours.
