Which park for half day/last day?

We are going to Disney World the first week of May with our 5 year old twin daughters. We have planned out which parks we are going to every day except for our last day, which will only be a half day (9-2ish). We will be spending a day each at Epcot, AK, HS, and 2 days at MK. Any recommendations for the last day? We do not have park hopper tickets or waterpark tickets, and plan to do downtown Disney in the evening after MK (plan to leave the park after the 3pm parade on the 2nd day). We hope to hit most of the big rides/attractions at each park on the days we are there with possible mid-day breaks. We have talked about just leaving the last day unplanned, but since it will be a Saturday, I thought I should try and plan a few FP+ so we will at least get a few rides without long waits. Given that our girls are young, I thought we might head back to the MK to just take in the street shows, visit some of the shops, etc that we might miss on the days we are trying to do everything else. Or should we spend more time at Epcot? I know its a big park, but we plan to be there for a full day on our first day at Disney, and I think after visiting the other parks, our girls might find it boring.

We always spend our last day at MK as well. We take it a little slower, look around, go on a few rides, grab any last minute items that we haven't already, and then head back to the resort.

We did Epcot for ours- just concentrated on Future World, and ended by saying goodbye to Mickey, Minnie and Goofy before we left :) It was a great way to end our trip :)

We've always done MK last. One of the very last things we like to do is get a hot dog from Casey's Corner and ice cream from the Plaza and enjoy the rag time piano player. I think we have finished our Disney trips almost every time with this tradition.

I would plan on MK, but be open to changing it depending on how the rest of the week goes. If one day gets rained out and you can't do everything you want. Or if you find they absolutely LOVED AK. Maybe they started the Wilderness Explorers game and didn't get to finish. Or didn't get to all the Kidcot stations in Epcot. Or there's a ride in one park that was down when you went and you really want to try it. You just don't know what might happen along the way.

So go ahead and book FP for MK. You can always try to change them while there if something else comes up and plans change.

I would ask my children what their favorite ride was and then go to that park. Most likely MK.

I'm going to vote MK as well. We spent two full days there on our trip, the other parks (with the exception of DHS, that was one full day) we did in half a day. I can see Epcot being a full day, maybe even two for some, but there wasn't that much my little ones were interested in there.

Definitely MK. If you have to leave Disney, the MK is the best diversion to keep your spirits up.

We like to go to MK on our last day (departure day).....well, I like to go to MK on our last (departure) day just so I can wave to the castle and say "See ya real soon" as we are heading out under the train station. We make sure we get a picture doing this too with our sad faces on....kind of a tradition for us.

Normally would say HS or AK since either can be done in half a day but you ate doing a full day on those, so MK is the park with the most options.

We always spend our last day at MK. We revisit some favorite attractions, use up any snack credits, and always say good bye to Mickey, although this year I think we will need a FP for that! I like my last look to be of the train station and Magic Kingdom sign.

I love MK as a last day, but it would also be hard for me to imagine not spending more than one day at Epcot. My kids enjoy Epcot a lot - it's a little less structured and hustle-bustle than MK and I think that's appealing. They like trying on silly things in the shops, sitting by or playing in the fountains, could spend hours in the Seas and also riding Figment and hanging out by the dancing fountain outside that ride.

Luckily it's your last day and you can decide on the trip what you feel like going back to.

MK - Always. Just need one more of view of the iconic castle and final train ride around the park!!! Must do!!!

I like MK to be our last park, so that's what I would recommend. One year we did a "wait and see what we feel like that morning" and still ended up at MK. I would plan FP around MK, you can always change it up last minute if you find there is another park you really didn't get to see as much as you wanted on your planned days.

MK last day for sure. Get some tissues ready for when you're walking out that last time.

We actually go back to HS so the kids can do Toy Story one more time, then dh takes ds to Star Tours while I take dd to Frozen sing-along. They like revisiting their favorites one more time before heading home.
