:confused3 Ok we have 7 day tickets, we'll be going to MK on 3 of the days and Epcot a day, MGM a day, and AK a day... which park should we do a second day? past trips ...
in '04 we did all parks
in '05 we did all but AK
in '06 we did MK and Epcot

so we are thinking we should do AK or MGM two days since we did Epcot last year and havn't done the others in so long... but they are kinda both 1 day parks ... hum i could see MGM more as 2 days in order to actully see all the shows w/o running ragged. we have never seen about 2 or 3 of the shows there. but we won't have hoppers so we are trying to figure it out... the kids are DS 7, DD 5, DD3, me and dh. Staying on property, driving ourselfs to the parks. hummm i think that's most all the info! so what would you do?

I think Epcot needs 2 days. MGM and AK are pretty much one day parks for us though I love AK.

any more opinions, i was thinking Epcot but dh said since we went there last year shouldn't we do MGM or AK 2 days since we haven't been there in a while??? I'm just not sure... heck if it was my call i'd just take them to MK again i mean that's where there's most to do but after 3 days and the PPP i think we'll be MK burnt out! LOL

Epcot is so big that it can easily be a 2 day park. Would your little ones like World Showcase? World Showcase is hard for us. Mine are 8 and 5 and all the want to do is buy stuff there and do the masks -- which they love but I find a bit boring. Even so, we love going to Epcot.

About MGM..... I don't know if Toy Story Midway (or whatever the new attraction will be called at the Studios) will be open yet or not. I believe it is set for a Spring '08 opening. If it is open, then that could definitely be a 2 day park. I love the Studios. It is my favorite park because I love the shows, and you're right. It is hard to see all of them in a single day. I also love the parade and the characters there.

AK used to be a good day trip for us. We're 90 miles from the Mouse, and we could leave our home in the morning, see all we wanted to see, nd still be home by early evening. Mine don't care for the Safari or KRR. The 3D movie terrified them, and well, there just wasn't much to do. They enjoy it more now, but they love the games at DinoLand the most; and that means more $$ out of my pocket. It has become a full day for us, but it is still hard because there just isn't much there for my younger one to do.

Personally, I'd plan for 2 days at Epcot and keep the others open to go back and hit some favorites again or go back to the parks that you feel you didn't get enough of. Not everyday has to be planned out. Sometimes it is just fun to wing it. Since we always go at the last minute, we never have things planned out; but we always have fun.

I would probably spend another day at DHS (MGM). It would give you more time to take in the shows... Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Playhouse Disney, Lights, Motors, Action, etc., watch the parades, see Fantasmic. My family loves this park, just the way it looks and how clean it feels.

My second choice would be AK. We are not AK lovers, (Just don't like the look and feel of the park, but I understand why it is themed that way) but there is quite a lot of attractions here, for your children's ages.

We like Epcot, and my 9 year old son looks forward to walking around the World, but he's really into geography and history, but I know a lot of young children are bored with that. Our 6 y/o isn't very interested but he handles it because he brings his Spider Man figurine and can entertain himself for hours.

I am a total planner, but I would wait and see which park the kids wanted to go to again. If you get to do everything you want to do at MGM or AK then why go back unless the kids want to do something again.

With my family, I would say definitely 2 days for Epcot! But what someone else said about just waiting to see where they want to go back makes good sense as well.

yep it's the being a planner type that is killing me here. i think this is the best plan we have on TS dinner on the DDP that we don't have ADR for i think i'm kinda worried not making ADR that we might not get to use it but i guess we could always use it the last day at DTD or something.

AK is our favorite park and we spend 2 days there every year
and still don't get to do some things--the New Nemo Show (we loved it!)
But if you go to both the TFOTLK show and the Nemo show
plus stay to see the Parade (wonderful) that takes up most of the
day without any rides.

MGM is getting more and newer things every year and I
got Hoppers this year because I have a feeling My DS will
be wanting to ride the New Toy Story Mania ride several times.
There is also a new Parade that will be debuting at MGM
it will be an All Pixar Characters Block Party Bash (something like that) this
year we want to see this also because we've seen the Car Parade several times.

I have to do 2 days of Epcot because it just about kills me if I
try to get it all in one day. When my DS (12 yrs old now) was much younger he hated Epcot
but as he's gotten older he has come to appreciate it and Disney has add more
things for younger kids now! but now he's thinks he's to old to these attractions.
What can you do?

We always arrive at WDW Resort on a Saturday and Don't even plan on going to MK until Tuesday which is not quiet as crowded as a weekend or a Monday. We do MK again a 2nd time before the Weekend crowd (usually a Thursday).
Epcot is big enough to do any day.
We made the mistake of going to MGM on an Extra Magic Hours day and
that was very crowded and Hot (there in Sept.) MGM is mostly paved which made it realy hot!! Won't do that again!!
Every EMH days have been overcrowded so avoid those.

Have a Fun Trip!!
