We are going late Sept so crowd predictions are in the 2/3 range - we have 2 day - park to park tickets. Which park would you start in?? - want to see it all but very interested in HP.

Thanks!

We went during very low crowds this past November. We were able to do all we wanted including all things HP in one day. HP activities in both parks. Plus you want to ride the train twice because experience different on way to and from each park.

To answer your question to me it doesn't really matter unless there is a certain time you want to get butter beer. That is only available in Diagon Alley that I know of.

Butter beer is available in both parks, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

We have 3 days. My plan is to knock all of HP out on arrival day. We will start in Universal with Diagon Alley and a butter beer and then HE over to IOA for Hogsmeade and a butter beer.

Then we'll do IOA attractions on Saturday and US on Sunday-and I'm sure I'll be on Gringotts both of those days because it is the best. ride. ever. And lots more butter beer :drinking:

If you want to get Harry Potter geeky (no judgement I'm one of the geekiest) you could do Diagonal Alley first since that's Harry's first experience in the magic world, then take the Express to Hogsmeade to attend Hogwarts for the first time.

Hhn begins mid September
Don't know your dates so can't be specific with my reply

If hhn is held on a date you are going, do that park first in the morning

Switch parks around 4 that day
Studios closes at 5 on hhn dates
Ioa stays open later

Thats what I was thinking as well!!! Do you thinks it is worth it to do an entire HP day...Diagon Alley area first and then head over to Hogsmeade - we can always see the rest of the parks on the second day....

That's what I was planning on doing, except EE is only at IOA all days I will be down there so that kinda threw a wrench in my plans to have breakfast at Leaky Cauldron to start the experience.

And yes, I would devote a whole day strictly to HP. I'm certain a lot of time will be spent in those shops if anything else. Never has a theme park actually made shops part of the experience like they've done with Potter.

That sounds like a good plan!! :D
