Which park do I only need one day at?

I could see two days at DHS particularly if you usually leave to eat elsewhere like I prefer. Overall the restaurants are pretty bad at DHS.

AK is a one day park for us.

I COULD spend 2 days at Epcot because that's how long it takes to walk around but I WOULD spend 2 days at Animal Kingdom Park or Hollywood Studios easily.

I already posted about Animal Kingdom Park. I think the park is under-rated. The animal exhibits are great. If there early enough, you can watch a veterinary procedure at Rafiki's Planet Watch/Conservation Station. Kilmanjaor Safari is great and worth 2 rides in 1 day. Every ride is a different experience. Then the tigers, the bats, etc... Bang on the drums, kid around with the performers in Africa, lots of characters not seen at other parks, fun rides, etc....

Hollywood Studios... I just have trouble fitting everything in on 1 day because all the shows are on a schedule. To do the Jedi Training, one has to arrive very early and enter well before rope drop to sign up... ditto for Toy Story Mania. Beauty and the Beast is a great stage show.. Indiana Jones, Lights-Cameras-Action, Mud Sweat and Tears, Fantasmic, etc... Just try to fit it all in in 1 day. And don't rush too fast and miss the street performers who are all worth a good laugh and tend to be out more just before the parade starts. Don't miss Fantasmic! I can't believe we skipped that our 1st trip!

We find AK to be a one day park. My kids enjoy animals a lot, but on a disney trip they seem to hurry through the walk expereinces there. They do love EE though and if we had hoppers would go back just to reride that! We can fit everything in one day though.

We have done epcot in one day. You cant devote much time to the countries though. Our kids enjoy those less so we can work it, but our last trip, our then 4 and 7 year olds loved epcot. We ended up going back a second night.

MK is always a two day park for us, our favorite!

DHs, we are not able to get everything in in a one day visit. I guess if you have seen the shows before and dont plan to go to them you could, but for us, I need at least a day and a half to get the shows and the rides we enjoy in. If your kids wont do tower of terror or rock n roller coaster that will help, but it is still hard getting the shows in.

We have 7 days coming up and plan to do two at MK plus the halloween party there, 2 at epcot, 1.5 at DHS and 1 at AK.

two days in Epcot, definitely! When I go we usually spend 3 days there, even if it's a 7 day trip.

I would say to spend one day in Hollywood studios and 2 in Animal Kingdom as well. Animal Kingdom is so much more enjoyable for children and adults IMO

Personally we would park hop all week and we'd definitely split that last day between 2 parks. There's not a WHOLE LOT for 6 yr olds at Epcot... We tend to make AK a half day park but we go at least 2 days so we do everything 2x. HS is another park that we usually do in 2 half day sessions. Even with MK we don't usually spend ALLLL day there. We go in the morning, leave after lunch for some resort time then go somewhere else in the evening...but we will hit it again a couple more times. I can't imagine not park hopping and being tied to 1 park for an entire day / evening. We tend to spend more time at Epcot when we stay at an Epcot resort that we can walk from (like BCV or BWV).

AK is a half day park for us, if at all. We are spoiled with one of the top zoos in the country right down the road. We don't spend time looking at animals at Disney. If we go at all, it's for safari, Everest, a show and then we are out. This coming trip, we are skipping it.

DHS is a one day park, if you can get all the shows you want to see crammed in. We are planning a day and a half there, IF we miss any shows. If we don't need to go back, we will add a half day to Epcot. Which means 2.5 days there with kids ages 4 and 7. In 2010(ages 2 and 5), it was by far their favorite park and one day was not sufficient. I always hear people say Epcot is the one kids don't like so we planned based on that and it turned out my kids couldn't get enough!!!
