Which park is the least crowded the day after Thanksgiving? I'm guessing that the Magic Kingdom will be PACKED that day, but I could be wrong. How is EPCOT or MGM? Are they really crowded too?

Not sure which is the least crowded, but we will be going to Epcot that day. Depending on how much we get done on 11/18 (TT, MS, Soarin), will depend on when we head over there. We have to be there for our 5pm ADRs for Coral Reef before the 8:15 CP.

I think it is late hours at Epcot the day after thanksgiving, so I am guessing that will make Epcot more crowded.

Well does not make an difference to me as I am going to go to MGM. I think MK will be packed myself. Never been this time of year so I am going with my feelings.

We went last year the day before Thanksgiving until the week after and didn't expect to get anything done in the parks from Wed. through that weekend and I was really surprised how manageable those park days were. We were there at park opening and avoid the EMH park and went to the EMH park the day after it had EMH and we really had a great time and got tons done. Have fun!

Have you checked out the Unofficial Guide's crowd level chart? Go to www dot touringplans dot com, then click on "crowd calendar" in the left column (disboards won't let me post the link). It predicts that Animal Kingdom is the best park to go to and Epcot and MGM are the worst the day after Thanksgiving. They take everything into account when coming up with their predictions, holidays, day of the week, EMH, public school calendars, etc., etc.

Having said that, I'm going to Epcot that day! LOL, I should skip it and take my own advice but that's our first day, and it's our tradition to hit spaceship earth as our first ride of the vacation. We're also going to Epcot again later in the week, and will be following that chart more closely on our other days.

I hope that's helpful!

I know folks are scared that Thanksgiving through the weekend is major crowded. We go a lot during this time of year and it's not as bad as you may think. We usually go for a quick extra trip starting Wed or Thanksgiving day and come back Sun or Mon. this year we're going the Saturday before Thanksgiving and staying through untilt he next Sunday, 11/18 - 11/26.

We have never found any of the parks to be unmanageable during this time. We even went to MK on Thanksgiving day last year. We went early...I will say that. usually on Fridy after Thanksgiving we go to Epcot to see Holidays Around the World. It's never been crazy crowded. I would THINK MK would be the most crowded any of the days following Thanksgiving, but that is usually the case when schools are out because locals file in. As well as tourists like us.

It'll be fine - go early and enjoy. As I said, we've never been stressed out with crowds during this time of year.

We are thinking of going the week of Thanksgiving 2007. We usually go the first week of October. Is there much difference between those two times of year? Any good place for Thanksgiving Dinner?

Epcot is best able to handle the crowds, even on an EMH day. That's where I'll be the Sat. after Thanksgiving.
