We are going to do IOA one day and US one day. Our choices are Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Which park will be least crowded on which day.

Both are going to be very crowded until the end of summer so you can go do pretty much whatever works for your schedule. Sunday might be a little lighter but don't count on it. Summertime is here and so are the crowds.

The crowds will still be heavy but not as bad for wait times with Express.

Afternoon storms usually...any time after 1pm and lasting from a few minutes to several hours. They can be quite severe so make sure to heed warnings and seek shelter if instructed. I had a bad storm last night at the house and I live about 20 minutes north of Universal.

About 8000+ high school students begin to arrive in the convention center hotels on Monday. While they are there all week and have access to discounted tickets, Monday and Tuesday may be the best days they can go to the parks. Friday may be the next best day. The FBLA convention ends after the Friday evening general session.

I am taking 10 high school students to Universal Tuesday and either Thursday or Friday.

All 3 hotels claim Mon night is sold out. With crowds, we were thinking sunday for US and Wed for IOA. Is that a good plan since above post said 8000+ students will have best chance to go on Mon/Tues.

That sounds good, IMO. Wed. & Thursday Morning the Students will be in competitions and seminars. Friday Morning is voting, followed by the awards ceremony Friday evening. We may forgo the Friday eveining session for time at Universal, but I think we will will spend Thursday afternoon & evening in the parks.
