Which park can I go without early entry?

I've planned my itinerary, but it includes plans for early entry Tuesday through Friday, with a sleep in day on Saturday. I don't know if we'll be able to keep up that pace, especially since we plan e-night Tuesday. I'm planning a nap/swim break each afternoon, but I think my DSs - 9 & 13 will want to stay in the parks once they get in there.

Which park would you skip early entry? Wednesday - Epcot, Thursday - MK or Fri - AK?

I'm already into my "I can't sleep, I'm so excited about the trip" mode, and I have 15 days to go!

I wouldn't do any park that had EE, if I did not go to the EE itself because that park will likely be more croweded that day. So if you are going to skip EE, you should go to the park that had EE the day before.

That's an easy choice for me......after an e-night, I tend to want to sleep a little later so that would be the day I would skip. In your case, that would mean EPCOT and if I was to miss early entry at any park, it would be that one anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love EPCOT (it may be my favorite overalll park), but I find there to be a lot of options for me at this park at all times. So to miss early entry here would not be a big deal for our family.

You'll love e-night......I find it to always be a great time and it is so nice to not have a crowded park where you can just stroll through at a leisurely pace. In addition, you get to go on all of the best rides with little to no lines......very cool!

By the way, whenever we do an early entry, we always leave that park by noon (as it begins to fill up). Then we go and have a nice lunch somewhere and/or back to the pool for a dip. Even a nap could be in order depending on how tired we are. I think your plan of taking it easy in the afternoon is right on!

Thank you. I'm so excited about e-night! Is it really that uncrowded? Even in June?

This is my first time staying on Disney property and I haven't been to WDW since AK opened. I don't want to miss a thing - I just hope I don't overdo it.

Thanks for your replies!

After rereading my post, I'm not sure if my original question is very clear. What I'm trying to figure out is: If I chose to sleep late one morning, which of the parks should I skip going to early entry? In other words, which park do you get the most/least benefit from early entry?

Disneychrista, I definitely wouldn't go to an early enrty park at regular openning time or later.

GenePA, I am planning on leaving the early entry parks as soon as the crowds get unbearable.

Thanks to both of you for your posts! All I want to do is talk about the trip - my kids are gonna go nuts

We have found that Epcot doesn't have alot open for EE. That's the one I'd skip.

Epcot is the one park where we no longer do EE. It's our favorite park, but we just don't think there's as much to offer there for EE. So we use Epcot days as sleep-in days.

I don't know when you're going - must be before sept. if you know the eride night! If you're going late August after Mission Space opens and you want to ride that, you might want to go to the EE at Epcot for that reason. I'm arriving the day after MS is supposed to open and I'm thinking the EE for it will be a bigger draw than usual.

Enjoy!

Carol,
I just figured out how to add my countdown clock. 14 days to go - June 23. Sleeping in on Epcot EE sounds good. We'll probably just wing it and see if we're awake early. We arrive on Monday afternoon, so we'll only have been to MGM/MK Tuesday. By Friday we'll probably be so tired we won't want to get up for AK EE.

BTW, is it possible that E ride night for a Tuesday could sell out by my Monday check in? I'm worried about that but I guess I just have to wait and see.

I think it is pretty rare the e-ride sells out. We have gone to e-ride about 5 times and each time has been great. You may encounter a few short lines but overall, you'll be able to ride many rides with little to no wait at all.

We'll be there one week after you...I Need Magic...our countdown is less than 19 days....woo-hoo!
