This is kind of dining related, so....

We have an ADR for Ohana at 5:25 p.m.
The next morning we have to be up early for a CP breakfast that's at 8:15 am.

So since we have to be up early, we will go back to the hotel after the Ohana dinner the night before. (We have kids.)

Would you go to Epcot on the Ohana day or to AK? If we go to Epcot, we would be able to return again another day. If we go to AK, we would probably go to Ohana after the parade.

What would you do?

I think either would be fine, yet I vote for going to AK on your 'Ohana day. That was our plan last year and will probably be our plan for our next trip. In our opinion, you can visit AK in less time than EPCOT.

If you leave AK after the parade, you may end up missing some things. It depends on how crowded it is that day and how much you want to do. If you can return to Epcot another day, it might be better to cut your first Epcot day short and go to your reservation. Then you won't feel cheated if you didn't do everything you wanted to do at Epcot. Our family loved AK and needed the entire day to do everything we wanted. I think it would have been too short if we left after the parade.

Depends on how little your kids are or how tired you are!

You leave AK, get on a bus for Poly, then walk into Poly.

You leave Epcot, you walk to the monorail, up the long ramp. Get off at TTC, walk down the long ramp, then up the long ramp to the resort monorail, then ride to Poly.

Man, I hate that double ramp thing!!! But if you're not as lazy as me, and it would be your only chance to ride the monorail, Epcot would be fine, too.
