Which park 1st day?

We just found out that we will be arriving at the airport at 1:00 PM on Sunday Dec. 12. We had planned on going to AK right after we checked into AKL. Do you think that is still a good idea? Will we have enough time or should we possibly go to Future World in Epcot and then the afternoon we got to MGM head back to AK? Really tossed as what route to take now. Thanks for your ideas.

Don't know what types of passes you will have, but have you considered doing MVMCP that evening? If you have PH or PHP passes, you could take your time getting to WDW, check-in, get in your room, grab some food, and then head over to MK for MVMCP.

As you are probably aware, AK closes at 5pm on that day, so if your plane isn't landing until 1pm it is hard to imagine you'll have enough time to do much there that day. If you will have UPH passes and will be going to the parks irregardless that day, I think Epcot would be the better choice.
