Which Pandora fastpass should we select?

There are five of us, two adults and three tweens. I understand we can only choose one of the two new Pandora rides as our "premium" fastpass, but if course we want to experience both. Do any of you have an idea which we should choose as a fastpass? We will use standby for the other. We plan to arrive at rope drop and are open to single rider, if available. Many thanks for your invaluable insights.

agree with above comment
FOP is going faster in FP right now and the tweens will love it

It's really hard to say since we don't know what the standby lines for either are. With that said, I expect the Flight of Passage ride will be a longer wait just based on loading/unloading of similar rides. When you compare it to something similar (really the only thing we think it's going to be similar to is Soarin' or maybe Star Tours?), it's going to at least be a process of getting in the seat, making sure you're strapped into the seat, getting everyone on the ride off before the next group gets in.

It's more involved than when you compare River Journey's probable boarding sequence to other similar rides (again, guessing, but Pirates or Small World are probably fair comparisons). It's going to be getting large amounts of groups on a boat, and off of a boat. With no height restrictions, there won't be any seat belts/safety harnesses to be checked by CMs, so the boarding process is getting on to the boat and then you're in the ride. So, based off of that logic, I would FP Flight of Passage.

We picked FoP and plan to go to rope drop and hit RJ first thing right before our FP time. In theory, that should work, lol.

NRJ should load more people much quickier than FOP so imho I would FP FOP.

I read on another post that they are predicting load times similar to Frozen Ever After since the boats only hold 8 people. NRJ has nowhere near the capacity of Pirates or Small World.

Flight of passage has Four theaters with three rows of seating in each. There's only one track for NRJ.

Oh yeah, I mean, I don't claim to know anything. I'm just trying to make an educated guess. When it comes to anything Frozen, I think it's an anomaly; an outlier. There's no toddler who's going to throw a temper tantrum if she/he doesn't get to see the boat ride for a movie they likely haven't seen (Avatar). The lines for anything Frozen have been ridiculous from the get-go. Additionally, while FEA is way better than I could have ever imagined - it's a Maelstrom overlay. Maelstrom was never designed to handle the crowds FEA now has. NRJ will be more efficiently loaded, I think. Even the addition of a new theater hasn't cut down wait times on Soarin'. It's still a more involved boarding process than getting in/out of a boat.
