I am on Nexium right now but we are inbetween insurance right now (Dh's old job ending and new insurance does not begin until February) Cobra will not start until a few weeks from now.
Prilosec or Previcid
Prilosec or Previcid
Generic Prilosec OTC, Omeprazole.
I had to switch and now use the generic Prilosec OTC, Omeprazole. It is the same as Prilosec, but way cheaper. The cheapest I have found is at Sam's Club, but you really just need to check in your area. It works fine, but if I miss a day - Oh boy!
Thanks, golfgal - that's exactly what I was going to say. The OP has sixty days to decide whether to accept COBRA, and to start paying for it - but they'd be paying retroactively and would be covered from the day the current job ends. There shouldn't be a gap between your company insurance coverage and COBRA, that is the whole point of COBRA--why do you think there is a gap in coverage?
We all use Prevacid - by prescription.. Much, much cheaper than over the counter..
