Which One ??

Camping Griswald - I did take those things into consideration.
My 2nd favorite was the Boardwalk, I love the location, walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The membership expires in 2042 (18 years is a HUGE difference), especially if you take into consideration re-sale. Which I AM NOT thinking about, at all. But when purchasing, possibility of resale is something to consider.

SSR was never an option, because I just didn't care for the location, and property too big (exp. 2054). Animal Kingdom (exp. 2057) seemed too isolated to me and not worth sacrificing what I really wanted to save some money.

I had papers full of mathematical equations, with costs per year including the maintenance fees, to convince my husband it was worthwhile.

Wilted Lettuce, Not crispy Bacon.. What the ??? By the way Didn't MickeyD's Go with the McDlt sandwich ( or something like that) In order to keep the hot side hot and the lettuce tomato, side cold n crisp. Well as u can see that didn't last too long, but the whole BLT double entendre sorta is kewl. By the way, As if u haven't noticed my sister's Warped sense of Humor. Psst I think She's Just Jealous...LoL:rotfl2: BTW The Steeler thing is AWESOME!!!

It always makes me happy to see people who do all of the leg work...and help me to know we did the right thing for us! I am already wishing we had more points:)

We only bought in at 160 points, which obviously won't get us too far at BLT, but I was so surprised that my DH was willing and excited, i just said, "Well lets go for the minimum and see how well we do with it." He has already said, "Well if we get a cool stimulus package, maybe we can get more points." So I wish the "add ons" weren't 100 points....but maybe then we will purchase AKV resale:)

The general consensus for years has been to buy at the resort you are likely to stay at the most, forget all the rest.

I believe this is becoming even more important as DVC expands and you face more competition when booking at non-home resorts (with 9 resorts, and growing, you are competing with owners at 8 other resorts anytime you attempt to stay at a non-home resort, just a couple of years ago you only had to compete with 4-5 other resorts). We joined DVC about 5 years ago and it certainly seems like getting a reservations at other than our home resort is getting more difficult.

It's alot of money any way you look at it but remember you are doing this for your families enjoyment and future memories together. If you have made the decision to buy, do what feels right.
