which characture breakfast would you recommend for our first morning? my youngest will be 3 and she is very shy. we took her to southend seafront the other day and there was people dressed big hairy bear costumes, and she was so scared.:scared1:
so now im wondering what she is going to be like at disney, so i wondered if someone could recommend somewhere that would ease her in gently?
thanks kellie:)

personally i think the best breakfast would be the disney princess breakfast (if you can get in) as most of the characters are not dressed in the big costumes, we had mary poppins, belle, snow white, sleeping beauty and cinderella. my son was 2 and a half when we took him and it did not phase him one bit, but we did do a lot of the character breakfasts and all he was really interested in was eating.

My daughter too is very shy, however we booked Crystal Palace last time we were there and she LOVED it....She was fine with all the characters except Eeyore for some reason!!!!

We did Crystal Palace a couple of years ago with the kids and the good thing about that is there is plenty of room and not noisy although busy. The servers come round and ask you not to go to the characters, they come to your table. This might help as it's not the big, noisy crush I was expecting and a much better way of getting pictures and autographs.

Yep I agree! The crystal Palace is definatly a more calm enviroment I can also agree with having breakfast with the princess's (we went to the Royal Table) but if you're daughter doesn't know any of the characters it is a lot of money to spend! I think that you're best bet is the CP and if she doesn't like the characters then the breakfast is LOVELY and that would definatly make up for it!

Another vote for Crystal palace.Chef Mickeys is also good and so is playhouse disney at hollywood and vine.DD is 5 now but was 3 when we first took her and she is very shy as well.:cloud9:

i wouldn't worry too much if i were you....there's a difference betweeen big hairy bear costumes and the disney characters.....especially if she's familiar with the characters......

i asume you want to go to a breakfast that's in the park - if so, i agree that the Chrystal Palace is a really nice one....the food is good and the characters aren't overbearing (Winnie and friends)...
and the restaurant itself is very pretty...

I would suggest 1900 Park Fayre at the Grand Floridian. It's less frenetic and perfect for a young child.
