Which one to start?

Hey gang....

Greetings from Ocala, Florida!

Question....my 13 yr old nephew has a dilemma on what coaster to try first. Hulk or DD? He's prone to motion sickness....but only when he gets a "spinning" feeling.

I was thinking DD because if you can't see where you're going, it's not too bad.

My SIL seems to think Hulk because it's not as rough....

Would like your thots....

Lines are no problemo....everyone has EP....staying in Portofino 2 bedroom suite.

Oooooooooooooh!!! You will love the suite. There is actually a nice little kitchen with a fridge!

Hey Barb I'm only 15 miles south of ya.
Anyway,The hulk does not have a lift hill to me makes it a plus.The long lift hills get to me.Should start with ROTM,then Hulk.After that DD is a breeze..

Hulk because one you conquer the Green Machine, the Dragons are not as bad.

I didn't like DD Ice that much...kinda smacks you around. My kids who rode DD Fire said it was faster and smoother than Ice (which they also rode...I chose not to ride again after the rough ride on Ice).

Hulk was awesome my first time, sitting on the left side, but on my second ride on the right side, my head got buffeted about between the support, so I wasn't too happy about that. Was in the front row for both, so stick to the left for a smoother ride.

I would say DD. I find there is a bit near the end of the hulk that gets me and makes me feel really ill. I ended up with a headache and sick feeling after it but was fine on either side of DD.

Dueling Dragons is the smoothest of the coasters and as others have said start with Ice as it's a little slower than Fire.Hulk has gotten a bit rough over the years,the launch is still one of my favorite parts of any coaster but the rest of the ride rattles a little more than it used to,but is still a great coaster.Also ride Revenge of the Mummy,part coaster part dark ride,nothing too intense but very fun.
