Which one to choose among food & wine 2003 events?

The reservation will be taken starting from 7/24. I have heard these get booked up fairly early. I would like to go to just one event, with DH and my 2 girls, 5 and 2. Which one will be the most suitable one (we don't drink)? Thanks

Just a suggestion but.......your DDs are pretty young to enjoy one of the special, hard ticket food and wine events. I think they will enjoy walking around Epcot and tasting the various food stand offerings, do the kidscot stations etc but the FW events/dinners etc are pretty lengthy with a lot of tasting of various foods and wines, talking to the chefs, etc., there is not a lot to keep little ones occupied and the food is pretty upscale with a lot of seasonings and ingredients that do not usually appeal to little kids. All of the events are fairly expensive and you want to enjoy it, did you ever think of having the kids spend the evening in one of the kids clubs at a WDW resort? I think both the kids and the adults would enjoy the evening more.

Thanks. DeeP, that was what I thought too. My kids will not leave me to go to any kids club so I guess we will follow your suggestions to just walk around and try out different food.

Sorry, luckytso, I guess you will just have to wait a few years for the FW dinners/buffets. They are really very nice but are really not for young kids. You will enjoy the F&W festival very much though, there are tons of stands to sample all kinds of foods, beautiful flowers, toparies and gardens to see, a dog hedge maze and a great playground for the kids, you will all love it.
Another possible solution for child care is in room babysitting if you kids would go for that. I have never personally used this but have read many glowing reports on the boards from others who have used this. The sitter comes early to get the kids comfortable with her and I believe the parents carry a beeper, just a thought.

There is a special program for younger children at the F&W Festival called "Making Nestle Toll-House Cookies". I believe that it is held at the The Land pavilion. Not sure what the age limits are tho.

There may be other kid-friendly activities that I'm not aware of as well. Definitely agree that the other special events would not work with younger children.
