I currently have Garden Grill booked on an Epcot day and Liberty Tree Tavern dinner (but maybe lunch) on a Magic Kingdom day. These two restaurants seem the same to me and although my meat and potatoes hubby will like it I am considering changing one of them.

I'm struggling here! So confused. I need advice!

Which one should I change and if anyone would like to suggest another restaurant I'd love it.We don't mind leaving the park for a nearby resort.

My family are kind of basic eaters, nothing too out there.

Our current ADRs are:

The Plaza
50's PrimeTime
Ohana
Garden Grill
Cape May Dinner
Crystal Palace Breakfast
Liberty Tree
Mama Melrose
Le Cellier
Tusker House breakfast

Yes the Liberty Tree Dinner and Garden Grill are very similar. Liberty Tree Lunch does have more options. If you want to see characters go to garden grill if you want better food go to Liberty Tree

i wasn't very impressed with the food quality at liberty tree or the service.
it tasted very much like preprepared food.
the dessert was good though.

i haven't been to garden grill, but i'd opt for it.

Fellow Hoosier - I would go with LTT lunch and drop the Garden Grill. We ate at the GG in early December, and although the characters were very good, the food was not, nor was the service. We will not go back. You've made some other good choices with your ADRs.

We like LTT lunch better than dinner. So, I would probably drop LTT dinner over Garden Grill. We do enjoy Garden Grill. We have been numerous times over the last 9 years and have had good fresh food more than we have had mediocre food. The vegies usually are fabulous. Also the character interaction is great! Chip and Dale are a lot of fun and Pluto has always been a hit too. Even Mickey usually seems more playful at this restaurant.

We like both, but I would opt for LTT lunch. GG and LTT dinner are pricey. LTT lunch is very good IMO, and everyone can order from menu and get what they want rather than a set menu.

I would say change the LTT to lunch and drop something else from your list, like the Plaza. Or you could go OOP on the Plaza if you love it. It's a pretty cheap ADR compared to the rest.

We love LTT and GG. At LTT, they have great cheese sticks (not your typical kind) and the Ooeey Gooeey Toffee Cake rocks! The Garden Grill was great when we went also.

You'r getting lots of conflicting advice, but that's to be expected- everyone has different tastes and opinions.

My 2 cents: Keep LTT. If you like the dinner menu, then fine. Or if you want more choices, go with lunch.

Drop GG. You already have character meals, so dropping one won't hurt. And Epcot has so many dining choices, it should be easy to find another that will suit you just as well.

This is our opinion of LTT. We've eaten there twice & it tasted very much like a meal I could quickly throw together from the grocery store's deli & frozen foods sections. It's been many years since we ate at GG, so I'm not the best person to give advice on it. I won't say what you should do, but if it were me, I'd definitely return to GG before returning to LTT dinner. We haven't tried LTT lunch yet, but I do plan to try it in the future. The lunch menu is much more appealing to me than the menu & quality at dinner is.

I would change the MK one. I would book Kona Cafe at the Polynesian and take the monorail over there for dinner. Breaks up the day and you can enjoy a ride around on the monorail plus we LOVE kona cafe for dinner.
Also Garden Grill is probably not worth it unless the kids really wanna see Chip/Dale and crew. I would prefer to go to the Italian restaurant or even go over to the boardwalk area and eat at the Brewery which we love also.

We just ate at both last week and I would cancel LTT. Garden Grill was much better, and the characters were fun. The atmosphere at GG was so much better, at LTT we were put at a table in the back by the kitchen and it seemed the food was just tossed on our plate and tossed out at us, no so at GG. Our server was great and always made sure we had everything we needed and being above the attraction was a very different experience.

Thank you so much everyone for your input. There's a part of me that wants to cancel both and start over!:scared1:

I actually like the idea of leaving MK and going to a resort. It will be our second day there. :)

I'm struggling with where to rebook. What are your favorites near these parks? One credit only though. I have a very picky son and my husband won't eat things with green peppers, onions, celery in them.

I would love more advice! :goodvibes

You made some great suggestion! Thank you! Can you give me a few for Epcot or the resorts? My DH likes steak and fish but nothing too crazy.

How do you think picky eaters would do at Kona?

If you have picky, non-adventurous eaters, Garden Grill will probably be a good choice. The rotating restaurant with a view of the land ride is really neat, & you get a lot of time with the characters. It's been too long for me to offer an opinion on the quality of the food though.

We love Kona and it's nothing to out of the ordinary really.
You could do Chef Mickeys as it's a buffet there is usually something for everyone and kids love it.
If I was you with picky eaters I would check out each restaurants menu's before making my decision and then you would have an idea if there was something for everyone.
