Which one? Poly, WL or AKL?????

We have a standard view at the WL booked for our Oct trip. (myself, dh, dd (5) and ds (7). We stayed at WL in December and loved it. I want to stay at the Lodge again but feel like I should try a different resort (we do not want to split our stay) We are considering the AKL savanah view or the Poly standard view. I would like to hear opinions and input. Help!!!!!

I would much rather have an AKL savannah view than a Polynesian garden view. The Polynesian is a lovely resort, really wonderful, but IMHO what made it so perfect for me was the lagoon view.

At the AKL you can request bunkbeds as well-which your girls might like as something a little different.

The rooms are smaller, but the lobby area is really made for spending time in. Much more than the Polynesian's IMHO.

Hands down AkL! Your girls will LOVE it. Not only looking at the animals all the time there are so many great activites for youngster there. It is our favorite resort!

We just stayed 3 nights at both in May....we had a savannah veiw...i would choose poly in a heart beat.. we liked the AKL but loved the poly.. we had garden veiw..the pool at poly is so much better....the boat to MK and the monorail are so quick and easy...I have to DDs ..one is 13 and the other is 10..... they would choose poly...so would i ....i loved the poly...amy

I, too, love the Poly and have stayed in almost all the other WDW resort hotels. The Poly has large rooms, easy transportation, and great atmosphere. IMHO, any Polynesian room has a good view

We've stayed at the Poly and WL and while transportation at the Poly is great, we prefer the WL. The lobby is breathtaking.
