All good suggestions but I have a few questions-
Do you ever share meals?
What are your kids ages (are either one 10+?)
Reason I ask is when we use the DDP it's my DM71, my DD11, and myself. Just like when we dine here at home, we will share meals. We had done this quite often at WDW and never had an issue. We have found that by sharing a few meals we always have extra TS to use.

That's how we have squeezed in a few extra meals, or even a 2TS or two. Of course, you can't share at buffets, so I'm talking about other sit-down meals.
We go in Sept. and we find that we don't want to eat too much. (must be the heat!) Sharing meals means we are comfortable after eating, not stuffed. Especially since we don't have dessert, at home, after every meal.

Of course, when appetizers were inc. with standard DDP, splitting meals made even more sense. We found that if we didn't share a meal, we would have to order our dessert to-go which meant nothing with ice cream.
FYI-you don't have to make all one meal OOP. You can use some credits and opt to pay OOP for the rest. For example for your meal at Coral Reef you might decide to use only 1 adult TS credits and pay OOP for the balance. You or your spouse could order a regular DDP meal and then the other one of you could just order another entree, or an appetizer. And then you could both share. You could also do this with the kids (depending an age and appetite) but most kid's meals are pretty reasonable. Also you'll be eating at Tuskers for breakfast. That meal is $24.50 for adults and 10.99 for kids 3-9. That may turn out to be your cheapest adult TS meal. Most kid's meals (non-buffet) run around $8-9 though there are some that are much more expensive. For example, at Tutto Italia, everything is ala carte on the kid's menu. A kid's meal there inc. appetizer, entree, dessert, and drink will run about $23.
Feel free to ask any more questions you have on the DDP. We have used it since it many times since the first time (Jan. 05-paid for it!) and have become quite the expert.

We have had the regular DDP free 5 times and QSDP free once so we have used some sort of DDP 7 times now.
