Which one? JetBlue or Delta

I recently opened a Jetblue CC because they were offering a lot of points for purchase. We flew them last month for spring break, direct flight from Albany to MCO. When we arrived at the airport, we found out we were delayed. The delay kept getting longer and longer and we ended up taking off almost two hours late, I believe.
Try five hours. Weather delay. Then getting put on a completely different flight - with your luggage not making either one. Oh, and further delay due to inebriated passenger. I've had mechanical delays on Delta, too. And American, which was my favorite - a flight attendant started giving out free drinks.

Delta (and others) WILL, and DO, purposefully bait-and
Airline rescheduled and reassignment Are. Not. Bait. And. Switch.
Had the 'disappearing flight' thing happen to me on an important major trip.
Transportation companies are not concerned with how important or how major any passenger's trip is. Standard advice from other passengers, and often Travel Agents, is to arrive a day or two early if one absolutely, positively needs to be at a destination by a deadline.
Same two-three-stop layovers, decrepit rusted aircraft.
Perhaps a less feared or hated mode of transportation would be best. I have to know - how would one know weeks or months in advance the condition of an airplane? Why in the world would anyone think, or claim, that ANY airline used dangerous (decrepit, rusted) aircraft?
Guess what.... Only THEN to have the good aircraft and flight RE-appear, at twice the cost.
It might behoove anyone planning to fly, to know how to work with an airline when it changes a flight. That information is readily available in the Transportation forum* or simply ask; on FlyerTalk.com; or via a simple Google search https://thepointsguy.com/2017/03/when-an-airline-changes-itinerary/

Other itineraries.... Yep, they will bait and switch whenever they can financially benefit.
Persons accusing airlines of bait and switch might consider first learning what that is. Schedule changes are not bait and switch. ALL an airfare purchase guaranteed is transportation from the start point to the destination on the given date. Period.

I don't have an issue with either one of these airlines.

I am flying out of Atlanta.
Jet blue for the dates I am flying only has one flght for each of the days I need.
Took a pass on Jet Blue as the one flght for Atlanta - MCO not good for me.

Booked with Delta and for what dates/times I needed, was cheaper by $20 with them compared to Jet Blue

Recieved an email from Delta a few days ago and they have changed planes
They gave me a new seat (2C) assignment due to their change.
I was orginally booked in the peanut gallery seating.....

Same time period as originally booked.

I always seek out the flight times to choose which airline to use.
