Which one is better? Caribe Royale or Gaylord Palms?

Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? & what do you think of them? I stayed at Caribe 10 years ago and was really nice but would like to know if its still nice. I got a 109 suite there Gaylord is 99 but has 27 dollars in extras every day is it as nice as it looks. Im going the end of September 2008 for 7 nights could stay at both if worth the moving.

I have stayed at both.

I am not in love with either of them but the room quality at the Gaylord is dramatically better!!!!

NOw the Caribe does have suites which was nice, but service was so so etc.

I would stay at the Gaylord without hesitation. The Caribe has to be a great deal to get me back LOL!
