If you could only pick one of these restaurants, which would you pick as the best? Explain why, if you want to!:D

We are a family of 2 adults, a 17 year old, and a 19 year old.

If you have 2 favorite choices, feel free to post an explanation!

Also, please let me know if you've had a bad experience at any of these places.

Thanks!:wave2:

Voted CG. The view is as good as the food. Rarely do you get both sooooooo good.

voted for Whispering Canyon - it's relaxed, fun, noisy, hilarious.

Those are very different choices. I chose Victoria & Alberts because it is a very SPECIAL dining experience that you really won't find anywhere else. I love it, however it is very formal, very gourmet, and choices are very limited. It is a very long and leisurely dinner (about 3 hours). It's not for everyone and I would expecially wonder if the teens would appreciate it as much as the adults. California Grill (the view, expecially during the fireworks, is wonderful) and Artist Point are both excellent restaurants and I do love both of them. I haven't eaten at Citricos or Shula's but I believe they are similar to CG and AP as far as menu and restaurant type. Whispering Canyon is a very casual restaurant - they feature an all you can eat platter of ribs, chicken, etc. The waitstaff is very loud and very funny. At some point during the evening, they have all the children come up and have a horserace around the restaurant. It's a fun place to go! It all depends on what you are looking for. If it is for a very special occasion, I would say if not V&A then definitely CG. I can only speak for the ones I have been to but I don't think you would have a bad experience at any of them.

I chose CG. One year we went & did not eat there & we were bummed after we came home. Great view, food & wonderful wine list. But we also like AP alot quiter than CG & again great food, beautiful resturanr & great wine list. A new favorite of ours is Flying Fish.

I picked Shula's. The steaks are really great and the atmosphere is pretty cool.

I've never been to Citricos and I'm not all that thrilled with Artist Point. California Grill is too ... California cuisine ... for kids (even older ones) and Victoria and Albert's is far too fancy and expensive for the same age group. The Whispering Canyon Cafe has great food, but might be a bit too silly for your kids since they are at that embarrassable age.

Have you thought of Narcoossee's? It has very nice food, it's pretty casual and it has great views.

Shula's is wonderful and pricey, but it's worth the extra $$. It is by far the best steak place at Disney.

I also like Whispering Canyon -- funny, loud, good food and good fun.

i chose artist point. very very nice restaurant and the food is excellent. i agree w/another poster that vickie and al are wonderful for a special ocasion. fabulous!! the last 2 times we dined at CG, about 6 months apart, we were disappointed in the meal. our travelling companions who have dined at cg many times were also disappointed in their meal. whispering canyon cafe is a great breakfast, but we do not care fot it for dinner.

My new favorite is Citrico. I loved it when we were there in April and have a ps for Ocotber. Artist Pt. would be my second choice but California Grill would be my DH's second choice.

I vote for Jiko at AKL!

It's one of two places that DD12 always wants to eat!

The other is Crytal Palace for Breakfast!

I voted for V&A. It is my favorite and if your late teens enjoy good food, I bet it will be a meal they will always remember.

My second choice is California Grill. Great food, service and view.

We also enjoy Citricos verymuch as well as Artist Point.

We've never tried Shula's and probably won't as we have many fine steak places in the Chicago area and if I'm at WDW, I want that Disney magic and service.::yes::

We have also never tried WCC. By the descriptions I've read, it is not my family's cup of tea.

i said wc cause it is the only one i would do every trip ( Ap wasn't all that impressed with, haven't tried some of the others ) but most are expensive enough i wouldn't want to spend that much every time i go, more like only on a special occasion. wc on the other hand is fun ,food is good if not fancy, moderate( for wdw) and i think the best value therefore
