Holiday Inn resort
Castle INN
Candy Cane Inn
Park Vue Inn

We will be going after Christmas Dec29 thru Jan2. If you have been to any of these or anybody have a favorite. This is our first trip and I am really stressed out trying to find the best deals. TIA

Of the ones listed, Candy Cane Inn is the highest rated here on the Dis.

Haven't stayed at Holiday Inn but out of the others, CCI, hands down.

Candy Cane Inn. It's a little farther but still walkable (Castle and Holiday Inn are a bit too far for comfort) but it also has its own dedicated free shuttle-- you don't have to wait for ART at the end of a long day, if you don't feel like walking back.

Otherwise I'd pick Park Vue because it's right across the street. It's pretty plain, but the convenience is nice.

After our trip last week, and seeing the hordes of people at closing time waiting for the shuttles, I vowed we'd always stay in walking distance. We stayed at HoJo.

We stayed at Fairfield Inn by Marriott. Close proximity to the parks, nice motel, nice rooms. It gets a :thumbsup2 from us!

We saw a report about Castle Inn having bed bugs. I would cross it off of your list.

I used to make Castle Inn my "home base" for trips to the Park. It used to be such a nice place to stay; not comparable to Disneyland Hotel or anything, but good for what it is: a mid-priced motel. After my holiday trip last year...never again! I won't go into details, except to say that the bed in my room was...hygienically horrifying :scared1:

Out of the places metioned, I'd go with Candycane Inn :thumbsup2

I always stay at Park Vue Inn. You just can't beat the location! It's nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and did I mention the location? It's directly across the street from the cross walk! I've heard really good things about the Candy Cane also.

We're staying at the Anaheim Desert Suites and Inn after Thanksgiving weekend. Anyone heard good or bad about this?

Deb

Yet another vote for Candy Cane Inn, we stay there whenever we have a little extra money for the trip and it is where we will be staying on our trip in early December.

Holiday Inn's renovations will be completed the week of Dec. 7th..per the local management.

We've stayed there and they were nice to us.

We will be staying there again on our trip in december.

{keeping fingers crossed that my husbands back is better}

We debated this over and over as well. We narrowed it down to choices 2 of which you don't have. We wanted garaunteed adjoining rooms, fridge, Cont' breakfast and closest to the park. We had 3 choices- Desert Inn, Tropicana and PArk Vue. We decided on Desert Inn because we got an amazing rate on 2 garaunteed adjoining rooms
