My family and i will be going to WDW in july for the first time. We will just be there for 4 days. We plan on going to each park. The last day will have to be cut short so we can head out. So we want to use the last day to go to the park we think will be least entertaining.
We have a 7 year old and a 5 year old. Right now we fell that Hollywood studios has the least to offer them. Not to say there isn't any good things there but the stuff there looks like it can be done quickly.

What park do you guys like the least??
What other advice can you give my to make this decision??

Thanks again for the help

We didn't care for Hollywood studios as much, with the exception of Fantasmic, it was amazing!!! As far as the rest of it, we were done pretty quickly, our faves were the backlot tour, the indiana jones show, and lunch at the Sci-Fi.

That's like being asked which of your children you like the least. Every park has different things to offer. That said, if it was my kids I would have to agree Hollywood Studios has more shows than actual rides. It does have the High School Musical rally if your kids are into that.

I wouldn't say I liked it the least, but I think you would not need to spend an entire day at Animal Kingdom. Last year we went 2x during the week we were there for only 2-3 hours each time. I will also add that it is the "hottest" park, or at least it was last August when we were there!

Another vote for Animal Kingdom as being last on the list.

Animal Kingdom good stuff: Finding Nemo Musical (great), Bug's Life 3D (good), Lion King (okay).
Animal Kingdom not too good stuff: Safari ride - kinda boring!, Dinosaur ride - too scary for my kids.

I actually like Hollywood a lot! Star Wars Ride (okay) and Star Wars Training (fun) (my 4.5 yr old is a Star Wars nut right now), High School Musical parade and show (very good), Beauty and the Beast (great), meeting Power Rangers characters, Fantasmic (great - but times won't work for you), Indiana Jones (kinda boring), Stunt Car Show (heard it was great), Disney Playhouse (great for my kids' ages). There was this animation show that was kinda boring though.

I prefer Hollywood over Animal Kingdom for sure!

Ooooh, I can't remember if I posted in the Canadian section before, but I absolutely hate the Carousel of Progress in MK. It was poke your eyeballs out boring. I'm trying to figure out whether it's an American thing or an age thing. I just didn't get it at all...

We do not care for Epcot aside from Soarin'. My dd loved Soarin' my ds likes The Seas pavillion but, other than that,we could take or leave it. This year that's going to be our last day. Lots of poeple like the Illuminations fireworks a lot but I prefer Wishes myself.

For us, in general it's AK. With everything being outside you get very little break from the sun/heat and there just was not enough to do there. If you are REALLY into animals then it might be of more interest.

This year we plan to go to AK just to ride EE and see Nemo. Then we will spend the rest of the day at DHS.

I can see how someone would not like Epcot all that much, as a PP had mentioned. Until this year my kids had no interest in seeing the countries. This trip they both want to spend a full day there to tour through WS.

rjan67, you are right on the money with the "hottest park" comment. We were there in May one year and believe it or not, Animal Kingdom was stifling hot! We thought it was just us but we were informed by a couple of CMs that Animal Kingdom feels, on average, about 5 degrees hotter than the other parks.

Don't forget the new Toy Story ride will be open at Hollywood Studios.
If you have the parkhopper pass, you could do a half-day at AK and then spend the afternoon at Hollywood Studios. (I suggest AK in the morning since I've heard the animals are more active then.)

Hollywood Studios for us, too.

But it's not like it's exactly punishment to go there... just that we don't find enough to keep us there for a whole day every time we go.

My vote for least favorite would be Hollywood Studios. We have not been there for about 8 years. The past few trips we have it on our to do list but it always seems to be left out for something else. I'm sure we will be there on our next trip. My DD8 loves Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Cars. Have a great trip. :yay:

We went to Epcot on our first visit and skipped it the following three visits only because we thought it would be the least enjoyable for the younger kids. We loved Animal Kingdom, but then we enjoy anything animal related. We always do two days in Magic Kingdom since that is the park we all enjoy the very most!

I would say Hollywood Studios. We've tried it on 3 trips now and we just don't get it!

The Studios are my favourite, not a big fan of Epcot, except Soarin, but do enjoy the World Showcase.

It would have to be the Studios for me also. Our family really likes the AK but it does get pretty hot in the summertime.

It is a toss up between the Animal kingdom and Hollywood Studios. If you have the park hopper option you could do both parks in the same day. Very possible to do this on Mondays when AK has early magic hours and HS has late Magic hours. Remember that the extra hours perk only applies if you are staying at a disney operated hotel.
