We are on the 9/21 sailing of the Magic and I am not sure which night to schedule Palo's for us. We don't want to miss anything special at the other restaurants. Do people generally schedule Palo's on formal night? Thanks for your help.

I'm of the opinion that people worry about this way too much. It's not so much a question of whether you're going to miss something, so much as you'll be doing one very enjoyable thing (eating at Palo) instead of another. There is so much to do on board, that you'll never be able to do it all and you'll run yourself ragged trying. We've eaten at Palo on formal nights, on Tropical night, and just regular restaurant nights. I don't think there's any one night that's any better than another. I'd say pick a night and just go with it. There are two showings of each evening show, so you're unlikely to miss a show because of eating at Palo. I'd say that Palo is better than anything that goes on in any of the restaurants on a given night. Don't think of it as missing out on something in the regular restaurant. Think of it as those in the regular restaurant missing out on Palo....

If you don't get to do something that you really wanted, there's always next time.

We've got PLA rotation and have requested Palo's on the second Lumiere's night. Lumiere's menu is the least appealing to us.

We're hoping to do Palo's on Sunday (Formal Night) so there will be one less day to dress up.

The menu on Formal night was very good to us...so we went on our scheduled night in AP, but we didn't want to miss the special LIGHT SHOW they do...so we made early ressies at Palo for 6pm...had a GREAT dinner, then went to our regular 8:30, 2nd sitting, at AP...all I had was an appetizer, DH got an appetizer and dessert (we chose this night because this menu was least appealing to us).

Check out the menus at - www.dcltribute.com - and go on the night with the least appealing menu. Or do what we did and schedule Palo around your normal dinner time and go to both. Don't miss the High Tea and Brunch at Palo either...they are just as wonderful as the dinner! You'll have a great time.
