We have two dates right now as party options both where we do BoG dinner. The first is Friday Sept 30 with a 6:10 reservation. The other is Tuesday Oct 4 with a 5:05 reservation.

Alternatively, we could go to party on Friday without reservation, do Tuesday reservation and then hop to Epcot since it doesn't close til 11 with magic hours. We leave evening Wednesday.

I would attend the party on a separate night from the BOG reservation. You can enter the MK at 4:00 on a party ticket; no need to spend park time eating. We have always picked a post-6:00 BOG dinner on a party night (to maximize the number of park hours you get from your day ticket) so in your situation, I'd do BOG on Friday and do the party on Tuesday.

We did the party last year on a tuesday and a friday in October. The tuesday seemed less crowded. And I agree with the above poster - you don't want to waste precious party time with a table service meal.
