Which Night Time Entertainment?

We are not late-night people. But I would like to try to see at least 2 night time attractions. Which would you select...MSEP, Fantasmic, Illuminations or Fireworks?

I am leaning towards MSEP and Illuminations, since they start at 9:00 and we do not have those at DLR.

Thanks!

if you stay for MSEP, just stay put for Wishes. It's worth the time and you will laready have a spot for MSEP. Illuminations is certainly less hassle than Fantasmic, but you can sit down while you wait and during Fantasmic.

In all honestly, I've skipped one or the other on different trips, but I've only skipped them because for one reason or another they conflicted with our plan. My advice would be to go the ones that mesh best with your touring plan or strategy.

I would probably opt for MSEP and IllumiNations as well. I would consider adding Wishes back into the mix, depending on when you're going and how long is the break between MSEP and fireworks. If it's short enough to stay, it might be worth it because there is also the Celebrate Castle Projection show (just before fireworks).

The only one I'd skip for sure if F!. DHS has better seating, but the show itself is lacking if you're used to the DL version (I really missed the Peter Pan sequence, the new dragon, and the Mark Twain at the end).

MSEP and Wishes (castle fireworks and music) on the same night back to back, and we also love Fantasmic.

If choosing between MSEP or Wishes, definitely Wishes!

I would feel like the trip was incomplete if we missed Wishes. The others we are hit and miss on.

If we are lucky enough to get a FP+ for MSEP, where is the FP+ seating location? Will we be able to see Wishes from there?

My touring plan and strategy is to have our DD in bed by 9:00 so that she isn't a total disaster the next day! But sometimes I scrap that plan if I think that a night time event is worth it.

I am embarrassed to say that we have never seen Fantasmic at DLR. :o Mostly because I won't ever stake out a spot on the ground 3 hours beforehand. And our DD isn't usually able to stay awake that late. But now that they are offering Dining Packages for F! at DLR, we will most certainly see it there one of these day!

On our trip last month we did Fantasmic and MSEP/Wishes. 100% I would say do not miss MSEP/Wishes. We did it our last night, and it was the best end to the trip.

To be honest, we were not overly impressed with Fantasmic, and would much rather prefer doing Illuminations, which we saw back in 2013.

We have 2 little ones, so getting to bed on time was important, but doing MSEP/Wishes and sleeping in a bit the next day would definitely be my recommendation!

OK I think we will skip Fantasmic and plan on MSEP/Wishes and Illuminations! Thanks everyone!

We'd consider our trip incomplete without at least one viewing of Illuminations. Our favorite by far!

We watched Illuminations last week in Epcot and it was not good. I am sorry we kept the kids up that late to see it since they were miserable and cranky. There were a few ok fireworks, then like a 5 minute break during the show. Did we just see it on a bad night?
