I made a typo on a contract ID, and it turns out it gave great rates! Tried googling the code - nothing. What contract ID is this - 5028548?

I just checked the master thread on National codes over at Flyer Talk and it isn't listed.. hmmmmmmmm
Personally, I don't use any codes that I don't know where they come from..

It looks like an Airline/priceline code, similar to the Delta code I used last year.

If you don't know the code or who it belongs to and what the requirements are (and that you can meet them) I wouldn't use it.

the 5007125 code which is emerald club base code is giving the same base rate as the code you quote ( albeit, this is for a ressie within the next week or two, the EC code actually gives a discount off the base rate too so it is better ...both are quoting 132$~ base rate without taxes and cash grabs )

For my dates in April (8 days, midsize), the code is $170 lower than the EC code, $90 less than Entertainment Card code.

knowing your dates now, it makes sense to wonder what power this code has

I checked it against my corporate rate for P-Week. This rate was a little higher.
