Which multi-day passes to buy

I need to buy a 4 day pass for next week. First day at the park is Jan 2nd. The passes online are either expiring 12/31 or effective from 1/4. I assume that buying the passes that start on 1/4 will allow us to go in, but want to make sure.

If you look more carefully, you'll see that the tickets available online are valid through December 31, 2012 (the end of NEXT year). The special promotion tickets are only valid beginning on Jan. 4th, so, if you will be using the tickets on Jan. 2, you will have to buy the regular park tickets, not the special.
