We went the 3rd week of August and the 2nd day we were there TS storm Hannah hit hard. I'm afraid to go in August again, the whole week was miserable, it never let up.

Is June, July or August better in terms of less rain fall? I can deal with crowds. It's the possibility of another storm like that that makes me want to avoid August again.

Thanks for your help.

I was gonna say...skip the summer! If you have to do the summer, really all months are similar. Rain almost every afternoon. Good luck!

thank you so much smidgen :)

FSUDisney - I would love to skip the summer, but it's the only time my extended family can come on this particular trip. I much prefer April myself.

Summer is when the sea breeze convergence is at a maximum from the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, so you will more than likely see thunderstorms on a almost daily basis. We go in November, think in the three times we have gone, we have had only one or two days of rain.
