We are starting to plan a trip for this upcoming August or September. I would like to stay in a moderate resort. Which one would you prefer, we have 1 daughter who is 3? Riverside, french quarter ,coronado springs, carribean beach.Thank you.

:D

I have stayed at the Coronado and the Caribbean. Of the two, I would choose the Coronado becuase of the variety in theming and because of the main pool. It's big with a long water slide. There is also a kiddie pool, but I'm not sure how big it is, since I don't have children of my own. Have a great time. All of the reosrts are good, no matter which one you choose.

Hi,

I would recommend Riverside. It has beautiful theming with great landscaping(look out for those azalea bushes) and beautiful rooms. My personal preference is the mansions, but to each his own. The pool at Ol' man island is nice and if you can try to take a carriage ride through the grounds its beautiful. You also have the option of taking a boat to DTD to shop or eat or even just to walk around. To me POR seems like a natural extension of my favorite ride-Splash Mountain. The shower curtain in the bayou rooms even have a picture of Brer Rabbit on it. Hope you had a good time an this helped.

I love the Caribbean Beach Resort for several reasons. I like the theming, the fact that there are several quiet pools in addition to the main pool, the food court, boating/biking activities, arcade and beaches to relax on at the hammocks. I think the rooms are good size and the grounds are beautiful to walk around and relax.

We have stayed at both CSR and CB. We LOVED CB and really liked CSR. Our kids were 8 & 7 at the time. CSR does have the larger pool and longer slide but CB has the beach areas. Kids love the sand. You can also see the tops of the fire works of Illumminations from the beach ares at CB. CSR is very spread out. Take a stroller with you or ask to placed in a roon near the main food court, since your kids are younger. Check out ALLEARS.net and look up pictures.

You will get all kinds of responses!!!

I have no answer for you because I haven't stayed in one YET! I just booked Coronado Springs yesterday for 4 nights in May......I think all the resorts look fabulous and I feel the need to try them all!! It will be just myself, DH and DD who will be 18 months then. She LOVES pools so that was my main thought - CS has an awesome pool (by the looks of it) and that was one of my main resons for choosing this resort, the other was the Spanish inspired architecture....I love this style and can't wait to see it in person!
