WHich moderate would you choose?

I am considering going from Value to Mod - we are currently booked at Pop Century from July 1-9th. I have the opportunity to get a Moderate at an exceptional rate (only ~170 bucks more for 8 nights to go from Value to Mod) and I'm thinking I'd be nuts to turn it down........but I'm still wavering - that $$ could definitely pay for other things (like gas to and fro, plus a character meal!), but this may be a one time chance so I think - go for the gusto! (I'm waffling majorly!)

OKay - here's the burning question that gets asked weekly -

Which mod would you choose?

A little about us: we aren't really hard to please - we stayed at AS Music last time and had a great time! We don't need a whole lot of fancy surroundings -We are a family of 4 - me, hubby and two girls - they will be newly 8 and newly 5 then. I don't care for a really spread out resort with lots of walking (I'm sure we'll get enough of that in the parks - LOL) We want a food court (we will be doing some light meals (sandwiches/bagels,etc) in our room. We'd like a fun pool for the girls - they can both swim, so maybe a pool slide or themed pool would be fun!

Which mod would you suggest?

Please help me decide!

You sound like a family ready for the POFQ. It is small and easy to get around. Great food court. A pool your kids will love. A boat to DTD. Very nice at night. You can also use the ammenities over at POR. There is a sit down restaurant, marina to rent boats, bike rentals, carriage rides, fishing, campfire, and so much more. I would definitely "splurge" and go to POFQ. I have a few pictures of the courtyard area and pool in my POR Chirstmas pictures.

Definitely POFQ, for all the reasons rkmassa mentioned. We stayed there last June (our first WDW trip) and absolutely loved POFQ. Beautiful, clean, quiet, small enough to walk anywhere in the resort in 5 min or less, fun pool/slide for the kids. Can't imagine liking any of the other moderates as well....

POFQ is without a doubt the least spread out Moderate. The pool has the coolest theme, and the boat ride to DTD is fun too. I didn't actually eat at the food court, but we walked by many times. The food court seemed to have a more relaxing atmosphere than other moderates and even deluxes.

We like doing meals (especially breakfast) in the rooms too. They didn't have them when we were there, but having the mini-fridge in the rooms at POFQ would definitly help in that regard.
